In your community ministries, what do you see? Hungry families? Houseless people? Returning citizens unable to get started on the right foot? Looming ecological crises and hurricane recovery? Discrimination and prejudice towards those who are different in heritage and gender and sexuality? Domestic and community violence? Struggling schools? Lack of healthcare? Sky-rocketing cost of living and afford insurance? Meanness towards immigrants and newcomers? All of these issues and more are directly effected by public policy. Your experiences and stories of ministry matter. Come tell them to those who make policy. Help shape Florida for the common good with grace and compassion.
